Tus Papeles™ specializes in immigration services and will prepare the required legal documents according to U.S. immigration law for:
DACA/Dreamers: Individuals that arrived to the U.S. before their 16th birthday and that were younger than 31 years of age on June 15, 2012 and who have been living in the U.S. continuously since June 15, 2007 can apply for a work permit.
Expanded DACA (coming soon): Individuals that arrived to the U.S. before their 16th birthday and have been living in the U.S. continuously since January 1, 2010 can apply for a work permit.
DAPA (coming soon): Parents of U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents that have been living continuously in the U.S. since January 1, 2010 will be able to apply for a work permit.
FOIA (Freedom of Information Act): You can request a copy of your complete official immigration file and/or your complete FBI criminal background check.
Family Petitions: Through a Family Petition if you are married to a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident your spouse can petition for you to immigrate to the U.S. Also, if your child is a U.S. Citizen and 21 years of age or older they can petition you to immigrate to the U.S.
Adjustments of Status/Green Cards: Once a Family Petition is approved your family member can adjust their status to that of Lawful Permanent Resident. This process can occur within the United States or abroad at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
